Joey Gilbert Roast Fundraiser

The Rotary Club of Reno, New Generations is making plans for its biggest fundraiser and invites you to help us make a difference.  On July 22, 2010, we will hold a Joey Gilbert Roast Fundraiser at the Eldorado Hotel and Casino from 6:30 to 9pm. The event will feature Joey Gilbert, professional boxer and attorney, being “roasted” by area personalities like popular radio show host Panama. You’ve never seen a fighter take a beating like this!

Here’s the best part.  We’re teaming up with Kerak Shrine here in Reno to share the net proceeds to benefit our organizations.  Kerak Shrine will Donate their share to the Shrine Hospitals Emergency Transportation Fund for Burned Patients to help cover the costs of transporting burned children to some of the best treatment facilities in the world.  I’m sure you’ll agree that both Shriners and Rotary are worthy of all our support.

But we need your help!      

In preparation for our fundraiser, we are looking for donations for the following: auction items, program ad purchases, and table and individual event ticket purchases. Ticket prices for the event ($75 or $675 for a table of 10) include a family style Italian dinner and of course fabulous entertainment as our featured roasters poke fun at Joey.
